Item is the December 2014 edition of the one page newsletter by the Burbank Cultural Art League. As with the other newsletters from this organization in the collection, it was sent to Prairie Trails Public Library by Donald Gacek, the editor. It opens by wishing its members a happy Christmas and new year and listing the themes of the upcoming exhibits. There were 7 members who participated in December's Chirstmas art exhibit. It also mentions the theme for January is "Anything Goes". There is to be no meeting on December 25th. At January's meeting, Pat Bock is to give a watercolor floral demonstration. The newsletter also lists other future demonstrations. It again reminds the members of the membership dues and to sign up to bring cake or cookies to the meetings. Lastly it wishes the members a Merry Christmas and New Year from all the officers and board members of the organization. |
