Item is a print-out of a photograph of the Liberty Bell replica that was on display at South Stickney Public Library (the predecessor to Prairie Trails Public Library) on 10/28/1975. It was around and part of a bicentennial celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. In the picture there is the bell, a law enforcement officar and a few other people (including a couple children) sitting near it or taking pictures. In the background there is a sign commerating the bicennenial and a group of people wearing red and white jackets and pants. The photographer of the picture is unknown. |
