Item is the 4/1/1963-3/31/1964 Annual Report for the Stickney Township PUblic Health District. The Board of Health President mentions in his message to the public that he had appointed Gene J. Franchi as acting health officer. He mentions the title slogan of "move forward" and stresses that the department has beeen rebuilding and organizing to better serve the public. Franchi has his own message regarding new changes to the organization such as mentions of mobile health unit for Tuberculosis, a program to deal with diabetes as well as going over progress made in several of the health departments. Other sections of the report include things such as nursing, dentistry and finnance. The report is kept in a clear plastic and cardboard folder. |
