Item is a four page roughly 8 by 5 inch booklet describing the itenerary for the 2002 Dedication Ceremony for Prairie Trails Public Library that happened on 9/14/2002. On the front there is the title, the date of the event, a picture of the library and a notice that the event will feature Speaker of the House Michael Madigan, Senator Louis Viverto and Mayor Harry Klein. Inside, there is a list of the staff, the board of trustees and who and in what order will be preforming what part of the ceremony. The ceremony included a presention of colors, a pledge of allegiance, a welcome, speeches, ribbon cutting, an award presenation and a recpetion. The ILA president Sylvia Williams was to present the Librarian of the Year award. On the back there is a list of the ribbon cutters, a thank you and the historical background of the creation of Prairie Trails Library. |
