Item is the December 2008 edition of the Prairie Trails Public Library District Newsletter. It consists of 4 pages on a double-sided 8 by 14 inch paper folded like a booklet. On the front page there is a blurb about a Christmas celebration event at the library with a craft, tree trimming and food. Inside there are the listings of the various adult and children programs the library is offering that month. On the back there is a notice about Ruth Faklis (then director of the library) and then senator Louis Viverto being the recipents of awards, with her for her good library work and him for his support of libraries in Illinois. There is a death notice for former Trustee Alexander Stenhouse and a mention that there are 3 vacancies available for Library Board of Trustees positions. At the bottom there is a for sale listing for a few items. |
