Item is a small newspaper clipping from the Burbank-Stickney Independant dated to 12/21/1995. The article is about Prairie Trails Public Library's 6th annual tree trim that happened on December 5th of that year. The Queen of Peace Chamber Choir under the direction of Rosemary Cunningham, sang traditional christmas carols. Santa Claus also showed up to help with the decorating and offer candy canes to the children. The was a punch and cookies reception afterwords. The event had over 160 participants. Above the blurb is a balck and white photo of a Christmas tree with two children standing next to it. Along the side of the article, there is "Independant 12/21/1995" written in pencil. |
