Stapled together are 4 letters from Frank Lojas (Chairman of the Burbank Bicentennial Commission) to 3 local newspapers requesting the release of a picture and a story meant to invite the community's voice in the Bicentennial celebration and in the committee meetings. The 4 letters contained the same content, and were addressed to these newspapers: Burbank-Stickney Independent, The Suburban News Marketer, The Advertiser News Graphic, and Suburbanite Economist. On the final page of this collection is a description of what the picture contains and the story to be published in conjunction with the photograph, which contains information on who the Comission members are and who to contact for ideas and more information. |
