This item is a short article dated to 4/6/1996 from an unknown newspaper. It is about how National Library week (April 13th -19th) will be celebrated at Prairie Trails Public Library. It also mentions that 1991 is the 27th anniversary of the library's cration. An exhibit by the Burbank Cultural Art League will be on display on the 13th and will offer demonstrations with the artists and art supplies. There will also be a magic comedy preformance by Mr. Ash on the 15th. On the 16th there was to be a computer class taught by Dan Kloeppper. A bluegrass festival was scheduled for the 17th and southern tales read by then library director Ruth Falkis. Bears player Keith Jennings will show up to talk and sign autogrpahs. There will also be a program with author and entertainer David Rudlph. A special prize drawing will be held after each of these events. |
