Item is a small newspaper clipping from an unknown newspaper dating to 12/20/1999. The article is about how Prairie Trails Public Library held its 10th annual Holiday Tree Trim on December 7th. The event had carolers from Chamber Choir Carolers from Queen of Peace High School. Santa Claus was also there and passed out candy canes. Participants got to place an ornament on the library christmas tree and enjoy punch and cookies. In celebration of the 10th anniversary, each registered family got a porcelain snowflake ornament as a keepsake. Above the article is a photo of Santa Claus with a young girl. |
